We put our hand prints on our heart logo because God gave us a vision to become the spiritual heart of Graylingwell, Winterbourne and the communities in which He has placed us. And this is all about people, hand on heart.

Graylingwell Chapel was a place where people found healing and a hope for the future. Then the Chapel was closed down when a large part of the NHS site was decommissioned. Beginning and End. Infinite Creator. Outside time and space. This is our God. You can’t fit Him into a test tube or define Him as a “god particle”. This is the creator who built the universe from nothing, “ex-nihilo”.

Our logo is personal and special to us! We placed our hands in paint and then on the board, forming the shape of a heart. Why? Because God has called us to be the spiritual heart of Graylingwell, Winterbourne and the communities in which He has placed us. We are building community.

The mix of mid 1800′s architecture and design with the new creative space that is emerging in the Chapel, gives us the opportunity to express the creativity of God in many ways. And the cross is central.
