We put our hand prints on our heart logo because God gave us a vision to become the spiritual heart of Graylingwell, Winterbourne and the communities in which He has placed us. And this is all about people, hand on heart.

Fire Come Down!

God will not be hemmed in and His plans will never be thwarted. We come together expecting the fire to fall, God revealing His power, presence and glory! We believe in a “heaven to earth” God who transforms us and enables us to be the way we were designed to be. That’s what bring a new quality of life into our earthly experience.

Healing & Hope

Graylingwell Chapel was a place where people found healing and a hope for the future. Then the Chapel was closed down when a large part of the NHS site was decommissioned. After 12 years, Immanuel Church moved in and re-oped the Chapel. Now we are rediscovering the amazing heritage of this place and people are finding healing and hope again.

Alpha & Omega

Beginning and End. Infinite Creator. Outside time and space. This is our God. You can’t fit Him into a test tube or define Him as a “god particle”. This is the creator who built the universe from nothing, “ex-nihilo”.

Light Of Hope

When the chapel was still closed, we got permission to light candles in the Chapel on Advent Sunday 2007. We stood in the darkness and worshiped the Lord together and felt His presence with us. At this moment, we knew God had provided a new home for us in Graylingwell Chapel. April 2010, we moved in!

Chapel Reborn

The formal opening of the chapel took place on 10th October 2010. The church has been growing ever since as people discover the wonders of God in this place

Good Shepherd

As you walk into Graylingwell Chapel, take a look above the old wooden door. There you will see a statue of the Good Shepherd. This sums up very nicely what we are about. Introducing people to the only one who can make a difference in their lives and offer an eternal perspective through His caring love.

Hands On Heart

Our logo is personal and special to us! We placed our hands in paint and then on the board, forming the shape of a heart. Why? Because God has called us to be the spiritual heart of Graylingwell, Winterbourne and the communities in which He has placed us. We are building community.

Graylingwell Cross
